Mitch + Lauren

So Easter for me was spent in the states capital, Hobart and I made the most of working Easter by bringing my family down with me and spending a few days down there enjoying all that Hobart has to offer, so while my girls were off shopping and going to the market – I was lucky enough to get out of it by photographing the wedding of Mitch + Lauren.

Lauren is sort of, kind of, not really my actual step sister as her beautiful mum has the challenge of taming my father…haha, so once again it was unique knowing a lot of the people at this wedding quite well and I could not have been more honoured to have been trusted in capturing their magical day !

We planned this day a little differently than usual, seeing as how daylight savings has ended we decided to do a first look and capture the wedding images before the actual ceremony, something I have done a few times and always make sure there is still a special moment where husband and wife get to see each other alone and have a moment or two before we meet up with the bridal party – I love the expressions on each of their faces as this unfolds !

Both the ceremony and reception was held at the ever beautiful Peppermint Bay – a location I had heard a lot about and was looking forward to working with and it did not disappoint, a stunning little spot just south of Hobart where actual Dolphins were jumping just off the shoreline ! Stunning !

Congratulations guys, hoping you have a fantastic honeymoon in Thailand and look forward to catching up and showing you some more, until then here are a few of the images we captured from your special day….

Mathew + Courtney

A couple of weekends ago I was lucky enough to photograph Mathew + Courtney’s big day, held at the beautiful Strathlyn Vineyard – a stunning location right on the side of the Tamar River in Rosevears.

Courtney was a very hands on bride as she organised everything down to the last detail and even created most, if not all of the decorations herself – a big task to add to the already large list when getting married, but she carried it off well and the day was excellent !

Poor Mathew had bets on from his groomsmen as to whether he was going to cry during the ceremony, apparently the little note that Courtney organised to him set him off and he could not keep the tears back – which is awesome just shows how much he cares for his wife ! Add to that beautiful gesture Courtney also had their nephew walk down the aisle first with a little message for Mathew, it would have been hard for anyone to keep it together !

Congratulations guys, currently off honeymooning overseas I hope you are both having a great time and can’t wait to show you some more images, until then here are a few to get you started…

Craig + Jayne

Last weekend I was lucky enough to be the photographer for Craig + Jayne’s big day, held at the absolutely beautiful Freshwater Point Homestead in Legana.

Such a really nice bunch of people surrounded Craig + Jayne for their big day, which just goes to show the type of people these two are – fun loving, caring and genuinely nice people.

Chris + Elizabeth

This past weekend I was lucky enough to be photographing Chris + Elizabeth’s beautiful wedding at Piermont, just outside of Swansea on the East Coast of Tasmania. Chris + Elizabeth are lucky enough to have a beautiful daughter who could participate in their big day, often my little girls ask “Where was I at your wedding dad” and I have to tell them they were not around at that time and they get upset – so I can tell you that your little daughter will love the fact that she was there and the photos will prove it even if she doesn’t remember in the years to come.

A really beautiful day guys, very relaxed and calm which was just the way you wanted it to be, so well done !!

Currently off honeymooning around Tasmania, until we next catch up here are a few images from your day, many many more to come !!
