Daniel + Bec – Hawley

So a couple of weekends ago I had the job of photographing the wedding of Daniel + Bec @ Hawley which is one of my favourite spots in Tassie ! There was a fair bit of emotions flowing on the day which is normal and when Daniel saw Bec for the first time he couldn’t help but tear up ! We snuck in a first look moment and actually captured most of the images before the ceremony which is becoming more popular and still did not take away from the special moments during the ceremony.

These guys put in a huge amount of planning for their day, constantly working on making it just right for them and I think they had their perfect day surrounded by a fun bunch of very supportive friends and family.

Congratulations guys can’t wait to catch up and show you some more ! Until then enjoy….

James + Reanne

Well I often get asked “if you were going to get married how would you do it” and the answer to that question is pretty much exactly what James + Reanne planned. No bridal party or large numbers of guests, instead it was a private and intimate gathering of about 30 people set in a stunning location, Avalon – which is on the Hobart side of Swansea on Tasmania’s East Coast.

Not only did these guys plan a truly amazing day they are both two of the nicest people you would ever come across, Reanne is a really relaxed and beautiful girl and James is not too bad on the eyes either and has this smirk of a smile that gives me the impression he gets up to some cheeky things from time to time.

A really amazing wedding guys, low-key and I bet all of the people you had share it with you will always remember it as a intimate and beautiful day !

Currently off honeymooning in the Maldives of all places, so I hope you are having fun guys and can’t wait to hear all about it when you get back, till then here are a few shots to get you interested to see some more !

Enjoy !!

Troy + Felicity – Hollybank Wedding

So last weekend I had the pleasure of photographing the wedding of Troy + Felicity, a beautiful couple and an awesome day !!

This lucky couple have a beautiful little house out of town and very close to Hollybank, so where else would you get married but one of the most beautiful spots Tasmania has on offer, if you have not been out to Hollybank it is almost like something out of “The Lord of the Rings” or “Harry Potter” you look at these weird looking trees and wonder when they will come to life !

Troy + Felicity have a gorgeous little 8 week old baby who was so good on the day, apart from needing a feed right when her mum and dad were due to be getting married – but the day was so chilled out and relaxed it didn’t really worry anyone too much ! We even made time for a little mini baby shoot ! Add to that cigars, helicopters and an awesome bridal party, everything that could be there was there !

Congratulations guys on creating your perfect wedding and I can’t wait to catch up and show you some more images !! Enjoy…
